The TRI BRAIN® Approach
Outdated neuroscience told us we had a triune brain, suggesting that the human brain is divided into three layers that each emerged in succession in the course of evolution. It refers to three parts of the human brain as reptilian, emotional and rational. Well, the truth is we didn’t evolve from reptiles with unruly lizard brains, emotions are not pre-wired and the brain does not function with three separate parts. This model is out-of-date and not based on contemporary neuroscience.
Taking the most recent evidence-based neuroscience findings that apply to decision-making, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and habit formation, I created the Tri Brain® theory and educational programs to update and inform you how to manage your thinking, regulate your emotions and achieve enhanced personal fulfillment using a mind-body approach.
