For those who want an experiential path to self-awareness, emotional regulation, and connection.
Experience a different way of learning about yourself.
Equine-Assisted Learning offers a gentle, experiential path to self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, and connection. Through guided, non-mounted interactions with horses, you begin to notice how you show up — in your body, your emotions, your communication, and your relationships.
Knowledge without experience is simply information. Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential learning approach that utilizes interactions with horses to develop life and critical thinking skills, social skills, reduce stress, regulate emotional processing and accelerate personal growth and awareness. This method focuses on teaching skills such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication, mindfulness, problem-solving, and leadership through both non-mounted and mounted activities with horses.
Designed and customized for each person and situation, my Equine Assisted Learning Series is a memorable, powerful and effective learning experience that involves guided equine-human interactions designed to meet the specific goals of the participant. The program is designed for individuals seeking to deepen their personal growth and self awareness. By interacting with horses, participants gain significant insights into their behavior and emotions, as horses are sensitive to human feelings and provide immediate feedback.
No prior horse experience is required and most participants have little to no experiene with horses. Most of the activities involve various groundwork activities that teach participants how to build relationship with horses, both on-line (using a halter and lead rope) or at liberty ( horse is loose).
